Dr. K. Lakshmi Parvathy

She completed her postgraduate residency at Madras Medical College (MMC) and her advanced super-specialty training in Medical Oncology. Her clinical background includes a Senior Residency at JIPMER, where she gained extensive experience in high-volume tertiary cancer care and multidisciplinary oncology practice.

Dr. Lakshmi focuses her clinical expertise on Breast and Gynecologic Oncology, managing cancers of the breast and cervix across early, locally advanced, and metastatic settings. Her unique dual-specialty perspective allows her to integrate chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and radiotherapy into cohesive, evidence-based treatment plans.

She has a dedicated interest in Geriatric Oncology, utilizing comprehensive geriatric assessment tools to tailor treatment for older adults, ensuring clinical efficacy is balanced with functional preservation. This is complemented by her focus on molecular oncology and cancer genetics, using biomarkers to personalize therapy. Dr. Lakshmi remains committed to palliative care and quality of life, providing ethical, precision-oriented, and patient-centered care. She is an active member of ESMO and AROI.
